Abstract

A procedure allowing preparation of mixed metal–carbon nanostructures from electroplating waste in a high yield was suggested. The following substances containing all the metals from the initial slime can be prepared from electroplating slimes (containing mainly iron or copper): metal phthalocyanines, phthalocyanine pyrolyzates, mixed endometallofullerenes, and their hydroxylated derivatives.
