Postdocs, graduate student, visiting student positions are available in the Chemical Biology Group of Dr. Han Xiao at Rice University (http://xiao.rice.edu  ). The focus of our research is the development of innovative chemical tools allowing us to understand complex biology system as well as develop novel therapeutic strategies. We are currently accepting applications for highly self-motivated postdocs, graduate student, visiting students with one of the following expertise:

1. Gene Delivery

We are seeking scholars with experience in antibody–ASO conjugates or lipid nanoparticle–based gene delivery. Candidates with expertise in Antibody–ASO systems, lipid nanoparticle engineering, gene therapy, and in vivo studies are especially preferred.

2. Medicinal Chemistry

We are seeking scholars with a strong background in medicinal chemistry to support this project. Experience in high-throughput drug discovery, AI-driven molecular design, or machine-learning approaches is preferred.

3. Protein Design

We are seeking scholars with expertise in protein evolution and AI-assisted protein design. Experience with AI-driven antibody/protein engineering or machine-learning–based sequence optimization is preferred.
