Two-dimensional circular platinum nanodendrites toward efficient oxygen reduction reaction and methanol oxidation reaction

Two-dimensional circular platinum nanodendrites (~13 nm thick, up to 138.8 nm in diameter) were synthesized by chemical reduction of platinum complexes with ascorbic acid in the presence of block copolymer and pre-formed seeds. The nanodendrites exhibit improved performance toward the oxygen reduction reaction and methanol oxidation reaction compared with platinum black.
