The excess intake of greasy foods is known to be a key contributing factor for the metabolic syndrome, which is a cluster of several medical conditions such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high serum triglycerides. Statins are representative lipid‐lowering agents prescribed for the treatment of dyslipidemia. In this artwork, fatty diets are represented by a glob of oil on a spoon, which is intertwined with atorvastatin, the active pharmaceutical ingredient of Lipitor, illustrating the effectiveness of the drug molecule in lowering blood cholesterol.
