The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology recently celebrated its 6th anniversary. Since its launch, the journal has been committed to publishing content that advances clinical practice and advocates change in health policy in diabetes and endocrinology, and that reflects the many debates and ongoing challenges in these complex and fast-moving fields. Our professional editorial team and in-house Assistant Editors, Illustrators, Production Editors, and Marketing and Communications teams are passionate about helping our authors to present their high-quality research to the world and we in turn are indebted to our authors and reviewers for their trust and support. It is thanks to them that we enjoy the privilege of being the leading clinical journal in diabetes and endocrinology. To continue to be highly engaged with the research communities we serve, we would like to advertise a call for papers to coincide with the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting 2020 (ENDO 2020) in San Francisco, CA, USA, on March 28–31, 2020. We are interested in hearing from authors of original research and Articles that advance the evidence base for prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of disease as well as health policies in endocrinology and metabolism topics, including but not limited to diabetes and glucose metabolism, lipid disorders, obesity, nutrition, adrenal disorders, bone health and osteoporosis, growth disorders, cardiovascular endocrinology, pituitary disorders, neuroendocrinology, thyroid disorders, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, female and male reproductive endocrinology, paediatric endocrinology, and transgender health. The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology has a rigorous fast-track review and editing process for original research, with online publication of successful submissions within 8 weeks. All published Articles will be accompanied by a commissioned Comment written by an independent expert with the aim of contextualising the findings for the journal's wide readership. Articles are also often promoted in press releases and might be selected to be discussed in podcasts to coincide with publication.
