Chikungunya fever (CF) is an arthropod-borne infection identified in nearly 40 countries, with endemicity in Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Africa.1 It is caused by the chikungunya virus and spread by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitos. In this series, we highlight diffuse hypermelanosis as a rare presenting manifestation of CF among infants.
