In this issue of Chem, Inoue and co-workers uncover distinct migratory insertion, oxidative addition, and reductive elimination steps at a single silicon center during the activation of aryl isocyanides (Ar–NC) by an acyclic imino(silyl)silylene; thus, this work offers a peak into the future use of silicon in catalysis.
