The protein structure is crucial for protein charge transport (CTp) on the solid state. Herein, we introduced a circular dichroism spectra-based quantitative strategy for improved light-oxygen-voltage (iLOV) protein secondary structure analysis. The CTp of iLOV can be modulated in one order of magnitude and displays negative linear relations with β-sheet contents.
