A palladium – catalyzed cross – coupling reaction of tertiary cyclopropyl carbagermatranes with acyl chlorides has been developed in this work. The scope of electrophiles was extended to alkenyl and alkyl acyl chloride from aryl acyl chloride. This strategy offers a highly modular approach to synthesize cyclopropyl derivatives from more natural products.
