The widest-coverage single-component near-infrared (NIR) emission (850–1650 nm) with the high NIR photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 20.3 % in Sm3+, Nd3+, Er3+ triple-doped Cs2K0.5Rb0.5(In0.95Sb0.05)Cl6 NCs is achieved. The remarkable results are attributed to the improved energy transfer efficiency between host and lanthanide (Ln3+) ions and reduced cation site symmetry of Ln3+ ions due to alkali metal substitution.
