Many advances are being made as we are marching toward IMT for 2030 and beyond. IEEE Wireless Communications continues to serve as the venue of choice for reporting such advances. Thus, for the year of 2022, the magazine has produced eight special topics, with “Coexistence of Drone and Terrestrial Networks” (organized by Gagangeet Singh Aujla, Harpreet S. Dhillon, Dusit Niyato, and Chiranjib Saha) in the last and sixth issue of 2022. The Guest Editors did an excellent job in soliciting submissions, conducting the review process, and finally selecting five quality articles for inclusion in this Feature Topic (FT).
