Abstract
Analysis of the distribution of rare-earth elements (REE) in veins and rocks of the Dzhimidonskii vein polymetallic deposit (North Ossetia, Russia) formed in the Middle Jurassic Period shows that the sources of REE and ore components were represented by a combination of host rocks of different compositions (PR3–PZ1 and PZ3) and alternated with time. Geochemical data were used as a basis for the development of new methods of equilibrium-dynamic modeling and assessment of the effect of the changes in space and with time of fluid flows from different sources on the processes of ore formation.
