Neutrino Oscillations: Status and Prospects

Abstract

The present status of neutrino oscillations and future prospects are reviewed in this talk. Resent results of searches for CP violation in the long baseline experiments T2K and NO\(\nu \)A are discussed. The next-generation neutrino experiments JUNO, Hyper-Kamiokande, and DUNE will address a broad oscillation program: a search for CP violation in the neutrino sector, the determination of the neutrino mass ordering, and precise measurements of oscillation parameters. Both Hyper-Kamiokande and DUNE have the potential to observe CP violation with a sensitivity of \( \geqslant \,5\sigma \) after 10 yr of data taking for more than 50% of all values of the CP-violating phase.
