About the Possibility of Reconstructing an Ultrashort Radio Pulse Deformed during Passing a Cold Plasma Medium

Abstract

The results of the analysis of the possibility to reconstruct the initial form of a transmitted radio pulse using the temporal dependence of the radiation field intensity are presented. This intensity is registered at the reception end of a path. The analysis is performed for the ultrashort sinusoidal train having a sinusoidal envelope. The propagation medium is cold rarified plasma. The form is reconstructed on the basis of the obtained integral relationship. It is done in the temporal domain of the relationship expressing the radiated pulse field via the received field. The examples illustrating the possibility to effectively reconstruct the initial form of the radiated pulse for a number of the problem parameter values are presented.
