A fiber grating preparation method: Drawing tower grating by single laser pulse with the phase-mask technique

A method of on-line dynamic preparation of drawing tower grating (DTG) based on the phase mask with a single laser pulse is introduced. The online DTG preparation method provides us a novel sensing fiber which has high tensile strength and efficient high-quality productivity and in which all DTGs have excellent spectral consistency and sensing consistency. Therefore, DTG can meet the measurement requirements of current Internet of Things for large-capacity, high-precision, fast response, long-distance, and distributed optical fiber sensor network technology.
