Abstract

The Golets Vysochaishii deposit is a sub-tabular ore body hosted by black carboniferous fine-grained aleuropelitic rocks. Fluid inclusions were studied in quartz samples collected from sulfide–quartz veins in the ore zone of the deposit. The studies provided the parameters of the ore-forming fluid. Fluids of the deposit were characterized by typical features of ore-forming fluids of the orogenic vein gold deposits. The precipitation of native gold in ores may have been stimulated by the process of carbon dioxide degassing from the fluid.
