Abstract
The influence of the following parameters on the product yield in the delayed coking of petroleum derivatives is investigated: the pressure and temperature in the coke drums; the recirculation coefficient; and the agitator speed. A mathematical model of delayed coking is formulated. Optimal parameters are identified. In producing coke, stable gasoline, and light gas-oil, the yield depends significantly on the pressure and temperature in the coke drums; the recirculation coefficient; and the agitator speed.
