ABSTRACT

Low morale, burnout, and work-place related stress are serious issues in all types of libraries. The COVID-19 pandemic has only exasperated this problem. Library leadership, librarians, and library staff need to recognize this and do what they can to combat it. This article introduces the topic, presents some causes, and discuss some methods to help reduce the impact on employees. However much more attention and research is needed about this important topic.
