The authors regret to inform that an error was made in reporting some of the Comet assay images presented in Figure 2. Similar images (D and E) were shown for cells treated with 5.01 and 50.1 μg/mL of Pb, and similar images (F and G) were also shown for cells treated with 5.01 and 50.1 μg/mL of Fe (II). The two sets of images should have been different. This error was due to the mistake in highlighting the representative images for the 50.1 μg/mL treatment with Pb and Fe (II) during the figure construction. The authors sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused.
