An effective analyzing of direct and indirect adversity for child depressive syndromes

Childhood is a very important period in one's life. Exposure to harmful and stressful events in childhood causes a serious problem in adulthood. This is because these adverse childhood events cause severe harmful psychological changes to the brain's chemical composition. Due to this, these children experience harmful problems in their adulthood. Hence, analysis of direct and indirect adversity for child depression is an important task. This research presents a new model for analyzing the direct and indirect adversity of child depression. Further, various components of child depression and the direct and indirect causes of child depression are presented. A new framework for evaluating child depression is being designed in which a novel metric called child depression called cumulative child depression index (CCDI) is proposed. The analysis is performed using children belonging to the age group of 5 to 15 years in which the combined effect of cumulative physical abuse (CPA), cumulative mental abuse (CMA), and cumulative environmental stress (CES) are evaluated. The proposed metric achieves a high adversity rate of 85.48%, a high mediational rate of 90.81%, and a very high psychological evaluation rate of 92.31%.
