A microwave-assisted 2D ordered and rapid polymerization strategy is developed to prepare a series of highly crystalline and semiconducting CTFs at the hundred-gram level within 20 minutes for the first time. Abundant single-layer/few-layer crystalline 2D triazine polymer nanosheets can be obtained through simple ball-milling exfoliation of the bulk layered CTFs and exhibit remarkable photocatalytic performance.
