Abstract
The discharging homogeneity and discharge efficiency of fresh concrete are the most important aspects of engineering practices of researchers. In this study, the influence of the main structural parameters of the blade on the discharge homogeneity and efficiency is numerically simulated through an orthogonal test based on the discrete element method. The order of influence of the blade structural parameters on the discharging homogeneity was obtained through range analysis and determined: t-shaped blade width > blade width > blade pitch > blade swing angle. Regarding the discharge efficiency, the influence order is blade pitch > blade swing angle > t-shaped blade width > blade width. Considering the discharging homogeneity and discharge efficiency, the optimal width of the t-shaped blade, blade pitch, blade width, and blade swing angle of the front cone–central cylinder–back cone were established as 120 mm, 1800–2280–1680(mm), 480–440–390 (mm), and 90°–90°–75°, respectively.
