Abstract

In this article we consider partial abelianization of associative algebra with respect to some fixed subalgebra. This notion is a generalization of usual abelianization of an associative algebra and has some applications in Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information Theory. Using various methods, we study partial abelianization of free product of finite-dimensional algebras.
