A new one-dimensional copper(II) coordination polymer: crystal structure and treatment activity on diabetic nephropathy

Abstract

In the current study, a new one-dimensional Cu(II) coordination polymer of [Cu(L)(μ-ONO2)]n (1) (HL = 4-fluoro-2-(((2-(methylamino)ethyl)imino)methyl)phenol) with bidentate bridging nitrate has been isolated and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis and elemental analysis. Its application values on the diabetic nephropathy were evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. First of all, the blood sugar was measured to detect the treatment activity of the new compound. In addition to this, the content of the serum amyloid A and TNF-α was also measured with ELISA detection kit.
