Branch-Selective hydroformylation enables atom economic synthesis of branched aldehydes, and the branched aldehydes are valuable intermediates for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, natural products and fi ne chemicals. This review focuses on the advances of branch-selective hydroformylation and its applications in organic synthesis.
