Core–shell fluorescent polymeric particles (CS-FPPs) were constructed based on aggregation-induced emission (AIE) via the stepwise self-stabilized precipitation (2SP) polymerization, and white light emission of CS-FPPs was achieved with the CIE1931 coordinate of (0.33, 0.34), which could be simply but effectively tuned by manipulating the aggregation microenvironment of the AIEgens.
