Better Constructions: By inserting anthracene core in the deep-blue building block, two D-π-A fluorescent blue emitters, ICz-An-PPI and IP-An-PPI were designed and synthesized. Impressively, the doped deep-blue OLED based on IP-An-PPI exhibited excellent performances with an unexpectedly high EQE of 7.5 % with the CIE coordinate of (0.150, 0.118), which is one of the best among the state-of-the-art deep-blue OLEDs with the CIEy <0.12.
