Background: Histologic phenotypic variation of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) has been hypothesized to underlie response to medical therapy. We evaluate preoperative MRI of robot-assisted simple prostatectomy (RASP) specimens and determine imaging features associated with histologic phenotype.
