In Appreciation of Reviewers
Inorganic Chemistry ( IF 4.3 ) Pub Date : 2021-09-20 , DOI: 10.1021/acs.inorgchem.1c02810

Authors are of course primarily responsible for the quality of the articles published in Inorganic Chemistry. However, they cannot do it alone. Reviewers play a critical role, providing useful oversight and helpful ideas that lead to significant improvements. It is selfless work, done in the service of the journal and our community of inorganic chemists. On behalf of the entire team of editors, we are deeply grateful. We thank the more than 4600 people from 70 countries who provided more than 10400 completed reviews during the past year (August 2020 through July 2021). The timing of this thank you note is not coincidental; we do so in recognition of Peer Review Week, which is September 20–24 this year. The list below (in alphabetical order) includes 110 reviewers who have made particularly noteworthy contributions during the past year. These stellar chemists were chosen on the basis of their many constructive reviews provided in a timely fashion, and they represent multiple subfields from institutions all over the world. In appreciation of their contributions, we honor them for their excellent work as reviewers for Inorganic Chemistry.
