Methods of Control of the Corrosion Protection of Steel Structures at Industrial Objects

We analyze the innovative aspects of the formation and development of corrosion protection as an important element of the state engineering and economic policy in the field of quality and safety of industrial objects. A risk-based approach is proposed to overcome the uncertainty of parameters of the corrosion protection of the structures and buildings according to the requirements of the quality function deployment (QFD). The nomenclature, parameters, and methods for the offline and online monitoring (conformity assessment) of the determining parameters of the corrosion state of structures and their protective coatings are established. It is proved that the procedure of making and checking the balanced decisions concerning corrosion protection promotes the transition from the costly to innovative procedure of control over the resource saving and technological safety of industrial enterprises.
