The authors of the above-mentioned paper noticed an error in Figure 1 as reported. The loading control is the same in all 4 panels to mis-represent actual loading control of Bax, cleaved Caspase 3 and TRPV1. This is due to transformation of a stacked (vertical) layout of representative gels to individual gel pair for each panel (resulting in copy and paste of the Bcl-2 loading control multiple time). The summary graphs presented were not affected (representative gel bands were not a part of summary sheet since they were reruns of protein samples already counted in summary sheet). The authors sincerely regret the error, and wish to thank Wiley for publishing the correction.
