One Pot Synthesis of Dithiolane Dendron Functionalized Gold Nanoparticles

The one-pot synthesis of dendronized gold nanoparticles with a size higher than 10 nm was investigated by optimizing different synthesis methods. Even if some experimental parameters of the Brust-schiffrin and seed-mediated methods allowed increasing slightly the nanoparticle size, the best results are obtained by tuning the gold speciation as a function of pH and gold salt concentration. They evidenced an impact of the gold precursor nature.
