A synthetic route to construct coumarin-3-carboxamides from coumarin-3-carboxylic acids with diverse tetraalkylthiuram disulfides in a one-pot fashion was investigated. This method takes place under mild conditions and is featured with readily available starting materials and broad substrate scope, which shows its practical synthetic value in organic synthesis.
