In the article by Cho et al, “Cerebrovascular Events in Patients With Centrifugal-Flow Left Ventricular Assist Devices,” which published online on July 28, 2021, and appears in the September 7, 2021, issue of the journal (Circulation.2021;144:763–772. 10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.121.055716), a correction is needed.

In the text, 2 data points for HVAD and HM3 were swapped:

The first line of the results section of the abstract should read:

“Of 6205 included patients, received 3129 (50.4%) the HM3 and 3076 (49.6%) received the HVAD.”

The first line of the Results should read:

“Adult patients (n=6205) implanted with a CF-LVAD (HVAD [n=3076; 49.6%] or HM3 [n=3129; 50.4%]) between January 1, 2017, and September 31, 2019 (Figure 1) had a median follow-up of 12 months (HVAD) and 9 months (HM3).”

In addition, the third sentence of the Discussion, should read:

“Herein, an analysis of 6205 patients in the Intermacs registry who were supported with CF-LVADs (49.6% HVAD; 50.4% HM3) showed a higher occurrence of major NAEs associated with an HVAD than with an HM3.”

In Figure 4, “events” was incorrectly listed as 2199 and was changed to 199.
