The output parameters of a disk Nd:YVO₄ laser with a degenerate two-mirror cavity and one-, two- and three-point diode pumping are studied without the use of intracavity spectral selectors. The TEM₀₀ lasing contained two equal-intensity frequency components with a spectral width less than 6 10⁻³ cm⁻¹ (<180 MHz) full width at half maximum (FWHM) and a distance between them of 5 10⁻² cm⁻¹ (1.5 GHz). The explanation of the nature of the spectrally selective properties of the degenerate resonator is proposed and experimentally substantiated.
