A new fluorescent sensor based on heterometallic Cd(II)–Ba(II)-based coordination polymer for detection of Cu2+ ion and treatment activity on psoriasis metabolic syndrome

A new heterometallic Cd(II)–Ba(II) coordination polymer, namely [Cd2Ba(bptc)2(H2O)4]n·3n(H2O)·n(DMA) (1, H3bptc = biphenyl-3,4′,5-tricarboxylic acid, DMA = N,N′-dimethylacetamide), was successfully prepared via the solvethermal reaction of Cd(II) ions, Ba(II) ions and H3bptc. Interestingly, compound 1 shows high selectivity and sensitivity toward Cu2+ ions in DMA medium via the luminescence quenching. The application values of the new compounds on the psoriasis metabolic syndrome were evaluated and the mechanism of the compound was also discussed.
