Organoboron compounds are versatile intermediate for a diverse range of synthetic transformations. The development of methodologies for the synthesis of organoboron compounds has gained colossal interest due to their easy functionalization to the diverse array of functional groups. Transition metal-based catalysts have been greatly utilized for the synthesis of organoboron compounds. Apart from being cost-effective, nickel-based catalysts' unique reactivity facilitated the formation of a diverse range of C-B bonds. This review article highlights the critical development in this area, focusing on mechanistic details.
