Abstract

Sorption-luminescent methods for ytterbium and morin determination based on the clinoptilolite were proposed. Optimal luminescent material preparation condition is the sorption of Yb(III) on the precalcined at 50 °C clinoptilolite in the solution with pH 8.0. The obtained clinoptilolite-Yb(III) sample was treated with morin solution. Definable range of Yb(III) concentration with the detection limit of 0.1 μg·mL−1 is within 0.25–1.0 μg·mL−1. The proposed method can be used for ytterbium determination in the presence of many rare earths. The range of the determination concentrations of morin is 3·× 10−4 − 4·× 10−3 mol·L−1. The detection limit is 1.5·×·10−4 mol·L−1.
