Abstract

A study is performed of the effect annealing has on the structure and mechanical properties of a material after deformation in a Bridgman chamber that induces severe plastic torsion deformations under high quasi-hydrostatic pressure. Thermal stability is analyzed in high-pressure phase ω formed by torsion under high quasi-hydrostatic pressure in technically pure VT1-0 titanium.
