To the Editor—We read with interest the article by Lewnard et al on reduced risk of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) recipients [1]. This topic is pertinent to the COVID-19 pandemic and could serve as reference for those who may seek more protection from the consequences of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. We would like to raise a few points from the article for further discussion.
