This introduction outlines the papers collected in the special issue “Mesozoic magmatism and mineralization in Southeastern China”. These papers focus on the spatiotemporal distributions, petrogenesis, geochronology, mineralization and tectonic settings of the Mesozoic granitic rocks in SE China, and they represent the new research progress and further understanding on the granitic magmatism and associated mineralization. After the overview of the all papers, we propose the insights for future studies on the granitoids and associated mineralization in SE China.
