This article presents some thoughts about the relationship between Data Protection and Competition Law—focusing on the implementation of the New Brazilian Data Protection Law (LGPD). The Digital Era, the Digital Economy, and the Data-Driven Market (although they present different definitions, they are all concepts that have a strong connection between their meanings) are significantly changing a variety of aspects in our lives.
