Abstract

The paper presents the results of studies of the microstructure, phase composition, and physical and mechanical properties (impact toughness, tensile strength (σE), and flexural strength (σflex)) of molybdenum-based metal composites (MCM) reinforced with boron fibers (so-called “borsic” SiC/B/W) obtained by mechanical alloying with subsequent densification by spark plasma sintering (SPS).
