Outside Front Cover: Using air discharge to capture wasted NH3 from live-stock manure to form double nitrogen fertilizer-NH4NO3 will be a significant contribution to both energy saving and environmental protection. Here, we investigated the NH4NO3 formation by air plasma and NH3 in three different reaction modes. NH4NO3 could be effectively formed by directly mixing NOx/HNOx with NH3. However, stable NH4NO3 formation may be affected by self-thermal decomposition and NH3 decomposition through discharge.
