In this paper, we first introduce semi-symmetric metric and semi-symmetric non-metric connections on a n-distribution $\mathcal{D}$ of a $(n+p)$-dimensional semi-Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$. Then we obtain the Gauss equations and the sectional curvature with respect to these connections. Finally, we give an example of a semi-Riemannian manifold with semi-symmetric metric and non-metric connections.
