Lanthanide coordination polymer: crystal structure and application values on hypotension after anesthesia

Abstract

In the present research, a new coordination polymer with the chemical formula of [PrCl(HL)]n (1) was synthesized by utilizing the pure chiral tricarboxyl ligand (S)-5-(((1-carboxy-2-phenylethyl)amino)methyl)isophthalic acid (H3L). The important role of the new compound on prevention of hypotension after anesthesia and the bio-toxicity was evaluated, and at the same time, the relevant mechanism was also be investigated. The conclusive outcome of the present work from the molecular docking simulation identification is that the carboxyl and imino groups are interacting with the active sites on the alpha-2A-adrenergic receptor, which reveals the underlaying reason of the biological activity of the complex.
