Correction to “Dimensionally Enhanced Antibacterial Library Screening”

During the course of followup studies, it was found that floxuridine MICs from the UM samples in this study were too high by a factor of 100, likely due to an error in making the working stock solution for this compound. Corrected data in Table 2 and Table 3 and for floxuridine in supplemental Table S1 are in bold. The upper section shows those agents with substantially enhanced activity in the presence of 8 μg mL–1 cefoxitin. The lower section shows those compounds with substantially reduced activity in the presence of cefoxitin. . Structures shown in figure below. ATCC 43300 strain used for library screening. Other vendor IDs given in the text. NA = not active at 50 μM, the highest concentration used in these MIC determinations. Control antibiotic. We thank A. D.
