In this study, authors utilized the NORspine registry to quantify changes in a multitude of disability, pain, and quality of life metrics for patients undergoing surgical management for degenerative cervical myelopathy. Across a 6.5-yr period, their study enrolled 905 patients, and their results demonstrated statistically significant improvements in all measured metrics. Minimal clinically important change, a surrogate for clinical significance, was met for all patient-reported outcome measures as well.
