Extreme electrolyte: There is a great need for new electrolytes for use in electrochemical capacitors that will allow operation in extreme environmental conditions. Here, a deep eutectic solvent based on lithium nitrate and acetamide was applied at 100 °C. This solvent-free mixture ensures stability and long cyclability of the system under such severe conditions.
