Abstract This case study describes the business practices, community relationships, and cultural insights developed over the last twenty years by an Indonesian social enterprise that markets culturally-potent, natural-dyed, handwoven textiles to high-value niche markets for the cultural, ecological, and economic benefit of indigenous women weavers.
